ui design

Level 2 Content for B2C (2012)

The UI Design of the Product I designed this page for in 2012 had already been established so this was an instance of my having to adhere to a UI aesthetic I had not myself created. Bringing a UX Designer's eye to the design of User Interfaces is always worth the effort but it's no effort at all when it's the same designer performing both functions. Three of the top four most important questions someone shopping online for a rental apartment needs answered are axiomatic: what does it look like? how much does it cost? how do I proceed if I want to take a look at it? Notice the three most prominent visual elements on this page answer these questions at a glance. The fourth, of course is: where is the apartment located? Which is why in my initial sketch the map is shown "above the fold."
